Lazlo's Corner
A couple of quick things.
1. Planning has begun on this year's Banding Together benefit webathon for the Spondylitis Association of America. As always , it will occur in mid-October here on BlowUpRadio.com, with a plethora of musicians performing live on air. We will also be giving a download of a compilation of music to people who donate to the cause. If you are interested in performing or donating a song, please contact me. Thanks.
2. I know most of our listeners are in the U.S., and probably in New Jersey, or the surrounding area, but if you are a listener in the U.K. you will need to do what eVery Person kNows to do to continue to listen to us. New international licensing regulations go into effect on June 1st, and Live365 has essential doubled the price if we want to continue to be accessible in the U.K. I wish i could afford to do that, but I cannot at this time. I also wish the money we spend on licensing/royalties went to the artists we play, but my understanding is the majority are not seeing the money.
Lastly, I do apologize if people are awaiting e-mail replies from me. My life has been very chaotic of late, and I am very behind in responding to e-mails. In fact, I am typing up this newsletter after the time i would usually send it out.
Sorry I am not keeping up. I am working on it.
