Hopefully you didn't just skip down to here without reading the beginning of the e-mail where it said It has recently become more difficult for us to keep up on new local New Jersey Music, and asked people to remember to send us music and tell other acts to send us their music.
So why has it become more difficult?
One of the major ways that I find new local music is by searching for "New Arrivals" on Bandcamp tagged "New Jersey". Unfortunately, their is something wrong with their search and it stopped updating with new arrivals after April 2nd.
While I hope this will be fixed soon, that may not happen. Since Songtradr took over Bandcamp there are less staff to fix problems like this, and they've removed a lot of the ways to contact Bandcamp to even alert them to this problem.
So you will notice this week's New NJ Music show features less new music than usual. However, one complaint I have heard from a few people over the years is they wished I talked a little more about the artists I am playing instead of just telling people to check out the artist's website. This week I will talk more, and then you can let me know if you prefer me talking more, or less. I will not be offended either way.
And please, help spread the word that BlowUpRadio.com wants to play New Jersey artists' music.
