Last week I said I was in that really weird timeframe where there is a lot going on behind the scenes at BlowUpRadio.com, but I cannot announce them yet.
While earlier today everything fell into place with one of those things and I am proud to announce that this is a first in the over 22 year history of BlowUpRadio.com...
We have an intern!
What?
If you know me, you know I have joked for many years how BlowUpRadio.com could use an intern, but I was never serious about it because I also don't like to give up control of anything on BlowUpRadio.com. This is hobby, and while it can be overwhelming at times I can't imagine not taking care of all that makes this station & website happen.
But, I have always been open to, and have had, people do shows on BlowUpRadio.com as well as reviews and interviews.
Then a few weeks ago Sean Manuel, a senior at New Jersey City University and member of the local band BreakTime, asked about being an intern here. He suggested doing interviews via e-mail, which was serendipitous timing as I recently had to stop doing interviews due to lack of time to continue doing them with any regularity and consistency.
So welcome Sean Manuel to the BlowUpRadio.com team, and check out a new interview from him every week on BlowUpRadio.com.

In other BlowUpRadio.com news, we will soon be able to announce our line up for the second annual Giving a Second Chance: a Benefit for National Foundation for Transplants. The benefit webathon will be broadcast on BlowUpRadio.com Saturday March 4th & Sunday March 5th.
As it currently stands we will have 20 different live performances during the webathon, and the compilation you can download by donating to the National Foundation for Transplants is expected to contain over 40 previously unreleased songs!
There is still room if any musicians wants to perform or contribute a previously unreleased song to the compilation, just reach out to me.
