Lazlo's Corner
So this week did not go as planned. I had off from my day job to relax after doing Banding Together, catch up on e-mails & listening to new music.
I had these lofty plans of being able to record a lot of interviews with musicians for Stay Home With Lazlo.
But sometimes real life gets in the way... and then I feel like I let all of you down...
I know I shouldn't, but after doing this for nearly 22 years I feel like I've built friendships and something of a relationship with many of you, and I want you to be able to depend on me to be there for the local music scene always.
And I am here, even if a little behind at the moment and playing catch up.
So why am I saying this out loud instead of keeping it to myself?
Well, first I want to apologize to anyone waiting on an e-mail reply from me or waiting for me to listen to their album. I spent a good deal of this weekend trying to catch up (I mean most people spend their weekends working on their hobby listening to around 30 new albums & responding to countless e-mails, right? LOL), but not quite caught up yet.
I also mention it because of our friendship and repour it seems only fair to admit when things don't go to plan and I am unable to meet expectations (even if they may only be my own).
But rest assured, I will be caught up soon, and while I did not get to prerecord a bunch of interviews, we do have new interviews scheduled for the next few Wednesdays (starting with Pat Veil this week), and if my availability allows, I will be adding more.
BlowUpRadio.com, the local music scene, and all of you who read this, listen to our station, and #SupportGoodMusic, are very important me. I do not take these things, or you, for granted.
