Lazlo's Corner
Today, Sunday April 25th, was the first time I left my house since the pandemic started for a non-essential errand or doctor's appointment. Even though it has been over two weeks since my second vaccination shot, & it was under strict social distancing guidelines (overseen by an epidemiologist), it was still kind of surreal talking with someone that was not on the other side of a computer screen.
I was at Lakehouse Music Academy in Asbury Park to record a video podcast with Michael Scotto, host of Through The Glass, named because we were still each in separate rooms looking at each other through a glass (which yes, did make me feel like quoting Mr. Spock at the end of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan).
Big thanks to Michael for inviting me to be part of this podcast, and inviting me again months later when I initially turned it down because I was not vaccinated.
If you are a regular listener of #StayHomeWithLazlo (Wednesdays @ 7pm on BlowUpRadio.com), then you know how interviews I do with musicians sometimes go off on tangents, and that happened in this interview also... apparently that is just my nature. I know I did not promote the local NJ music scene as much as I should have, but our conversation in a different direction, which I think you will find entertaining, amusing, and you may even learn something.
