Lazlo's Corner

I went out for a long walk early this morning through my town and the towns near mine. It was nice to get some fresh air (breathed thru a mask), though amusing to occasionally have to cross the streets to avoid people walking near me without masks. I felt like Pac-Man trying to avoid the ghosts because I did not have a power pellet.

While walking I did not see one Biden sign anywhere, but I passed at least a dozen Trump banners (and 1 confederate flag).

Most of the polls keep saying Biden will win the election in November... but those same polls said Clinton would win in 2016.

Don't be complacent. Make sure you are registered to vote in November.

You may have seen above that we posted Chill Smith's video for "Reverse Racism", a song which contains the N-word.

I often say I choose not to play songs with the N-word in them on because

1. I'm white & feel it is inappropriate for me to be playing

2. often it is used where a different word could be used as, or maybe even more, effectively

But "Reverse Racism" is an exception, because it uses the N-word to make a statement.

To me, context of the usage is key, which is why we posted Chill Smith's important video.

So I urge you to check out the video.

You can disagree with me, & I am always open to listening to other's perspectives, especially from POC (though racists can STFU).
