Lazlo's Corner
Most of you know I do an annual benefit for the Spondylitis Association Of America, a genetic disease which my wife is afflicted with.
Each October we release a compilation, do a webathon where musicians perform live usually from my house, and usually do some live shows. This year will obviously be a little different.
I am beginning the planning of this year's benefits, as a pre-cursor to events I hope to do for BlowUpRadio.com's 20th anniversary in December, and hope that you can be a part of this.
1. I am looking for previously unreleased original songs (which can include acoustic or live versions of previously released songs, remixes, etc.) for this year's compilation. I ask that all songs be original (no covers) and that they remain exclusive to the compilation until January 1st, 2021. The songs will be due some time in September, but if you have something ready, please feel free to send it now. Otherwise, if you think you can have something for the compilation, please let me know.
2. Looking for musicians to perform live, via skype, for our webathon. The dates will be Friday October 16th thru Sunday October 18th. Skype has already worked well for our Memorial Day virtual festival and our weekly Guitar Pulls, & by using Skype you do not have to be in NJ to participate. I would be honored if you could be part of this. If interested, please let me know.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I am happy to answer them.
Also feel free to forward this to any musicians you know who may be interested. 2020 is a strange year, but I would love if we could make this bigger than ever and Band Together during these trying times to doi something special.
