Lazlo's Corner

Technology has not been our friend this year.

As you may recall, a couple of months ago our computer died, but because we were backing everything up on 2 external hard drives, we lost very little.

Last Monday night while preparing Presents New NJ Music show, both of our external hard drives became corrupted. It took a while, but by Friday we had retrieved almost everything that was on the corrupted hard drive.

Friday afternoon we started copying the data from one external hard drive to another, so that we would again have a back up drive. As of early evening Sunday, it looks to be about half way there. Ugh...

This made preparing our new music shows for this week more difficult. We cannot access things on the hard drive while it is copying, and we are using our main computer for that process, leaving us on our backup computer.

But problems be damned, the shows will go on this week! And hopefully later this week we will be back to normal.

Better this happened now than during our Banding Together benefits for the Spondylitis Association Of America in October.
