Lazlo's Corner

Last night, as I was lying in bed about to fall asleep, I started to think about what I was going to write here this week.

I remember having the entire column fully formed, but didn't feel like getting out of bed and turning my computer back on to type it up.

And of course, I am now sitting here today trying to remember what the hell I planned to write.

It may have had to do with this year's Banding Together benefits for the Spondylitis Association of America, which we are starting to plan fr October (& maybe November too!)

It may have been about all the radio shows with guests, like's Couch, that I can't wait to start doing again once we get air conditioning in the basement (or the temps get back into 60s... whichever comes first), the basement being where we record shows with guests.

It may not have been about any of those topics. Sadly, I think the internet has made my brain less effective, as it is so easy to just google anything I am trying to remember. Forget a song title, google using whatever lyrics I remember. Forget a band name, google whatever song titles I remember. This will continue to work until such time as my brain gets so bad that I forget how to google something, which hopefully is not for a long time.

I may not be young anymore (I've been doing for nearly 18 years now), but I'm not old either. Not old enough to forget how to google something at least.

Just old enough to forget the point of this column.
