It has come to my attention that many still do not know what a Guitar Pull is, so look down to Lazlo's Corner for a quick explanation.
The next BlowUpRadio.com Guitar Pull at Espresso Joe's is Saturday, March 21st!
This installment will feature Josh Bicknell, Mike Regrets, and David Bronson!
Jersey Drive will open the evening with an acoustic set!
The show is free, all ages, and starts at 7pm sharp.
Espresso Joe's is at 50 West Front Street, in Keyport, NJ.

So what is a Guitar Pull?

or, in short, coming from the classic country music scene, it was a bunch of musicians getting together to play songs for each other, try out new material, chat, and essentially have a little party. It is very laid back, and meant to be a fun evening. Often alcohol is involved (though at Espresso Joe's we substitute caffeine for alcohol).
It is called a 'Pull' because there was generally one guitar and you would pull on it to take your turn.
Elvis Costello's Spectacle show did a Guitar Pull with Sheryl Crow, Ron Sexsmith, Neko Case and Jesse Winchester. You can watch it for free here: http://www.hulu.com/watch/526369#i0,p12,d0
