Hey Everyone,
This Saturday is the last BlowUpRadio.com Guitar Pull of 2014, and we have an amazing all female lineup for this show! This Guitar Pull will feature Catherine Wacha, Deena Shoshkes, and Melissa Anthony, with a special acoustic opening set from Bern & The Brights.
This is going to be a great night of music, at the always great Espresso Joe's in Keyport, NJ.
The show starts at 7pm sharp, and will be done by 10pm.

As you may know, I had a family emergency on Friday and missed the anniversary show. While I was deeply disappointed not to be able to be there, me not being there didn't stop the show from being awesome, nor did it stop people from celebrating BlowUpRadio.com's anniversary.
That is exactly the way it should be!
When I started BlowUpRadio.com nearly 14 years ago (12/15/2000), it was always my plan to be the owner/operator in charge, but not the only face/voice. I always saw the station to be a community of local musicians and local music fans.
While I am still the main face of the site, I have never wanted BlowUpRadio.com to be about me. It is about the music. And that is why I'm happy Friday's anniversary show went on without me. It was a chance to see 5 great acts, and celebrate the local music scene, which is what I try to do here every day.
It is a continual "work in progress"...there is so much more I would like to do, but don't have the time to do, and there are so many other voices I'd love to get involved in the site/station, but many don't have the time.
But, I am realizing that 100 years from now, when I am gone, BlowUpRadio.com can still live on because it is so much more than just me.
