Hey everybody, So among my duities for the NJ Indie Music Fest (Sat, Oct. 23rd at Centro Night Club in South Amboy), has been designing the website, www.njimf.com (check it out, will ya! There's lots of cool info on the show, as well as MP3's from all the bands performing). So, I was looking at the site earlier this week and admiring how happy I was with the way it looked...then I looked at my baby, BlowUpRadio.com, and I just wasn't as happy with the way it looked anymore...so... check out the new facelift on BlowUpRadio.com. That's right folks, the same great site supporting local music, now has a brand new look. Hope you like it :) And trust me, there will be some more changes to the site coming soon... Speaking of changes, Folk You! will no longer be at the Rodeo Ristra. The long and short of it is that the future of music there is iffy as the owners have decided to turn the place into a restaurant. However, welcome the Shannon Lounge as the new home of Folk You! You love it as a rock club on weekends, now love it as the new home of Folk You! beginning October 20th. I know people enjoy playing and watching these shows as much as I enjoy putting them on, so I am very happy to have found a new home without having to skip a month of the show, but with this new home comes greater responsiblity to bring a big audience to the shows. So if you enjoy the Folk You! shows, please make sure to come out this month (and every month) to support the FREE shows so that they may continue. And for those of you, like myself, who would like to say goodbye to the Rodeo Ristra, then stop by this Sunday at 3pm for one last big day of music. So many bands that have graced that place before are going to play it one more time. It should be fun. Thanks as always for you continued support of BlowUpRadio.com and the local music scene. Peace, Lazlo |
