2. MESSAGE FROM LAZLO

Hey folks, this Wednesday is not only St. Patrick's Day, but it's also another BlowUpRadio.com Presents FOLK YOU! show happening at
Rodeo-Ristra
230 Washington St (next to McDonalds), Hoboken, NJ (201)216-1550
*****THIS IS A FREE SHOW*****

And this special St. Patrick's Day edition of FOLK YOU! has a special line-up:

The Atom Beat ~ A tragic loss to the local music scene happened last year when The Atom Beat played their last show as a full band. But not to worry, they still pack the same punk meets rockabilly energy into their performance as a duo. Come down and check out this rare "stripped down" performance.

Mick Chorba (of the Dipsomaniacs) ~ The Dipsomaniacs came together in the mid 90's as four friends that wanted to drink cheap beer and play the songs they love by bands like the Who, the Replacements, Cracker, The Beatles, The Clash, and the Ramones. Last year they released the album "freakin' eureka" to rave reviews and an appreciative audience of fans of finely crafted Replacements-via-Fountains of Wayne songwriting and straight-ahead rocking. As the frontman for the band, Mick Chorba will be going back to the roots of his songwriting and playing some acoustic versions of his band's tunes.

Paul Crane (from Bastards of Melody) ~ What happens when the lead singer of one of the most electrifying rock bands in NJ strips down and goes acoustic? Heartfelt acoustic ballads with a touch of alt-country that still manage to rock.

Hadrian Mordecai (or the Spectacle Experiment) ~ Multi-instrumentalist Hadrian Mordecai formed the spectacle experiment in early 2001 as a venture in soundscapes. Normally employing lots of diverse loops and other gadgetry to produce his epic sound, here is a chance to hear simple stripped down versions of songs from the album "just in time for nothing", that will prove that his songwriting is the heart of his talent.

The fun begins at 9 sharp! Don't be late and don't forget that we're all Irish on St. Paddy's Day!

Peace,
Lazlo
