We're back! So some of you may have had problems getting on to BlowUpRadio.com. The host of our
wonderful little site was having issues which caused the site to be unavailable to certain people
at certain times. I myself couldn't get on the site for half the week. One of the downsides to
being a low budget internet site. But, all the bugs should be fixed now and the site is back and
ready to rock NJ with the best of the Garden State's local music scene.
Some of which you hopefully saw last Wednesday at our monthly Folk You! series at Rodeo-Ristra. Great performances
were put on by Steve Mannion of the Spaced Out Wastoids (how about that kazoo), Mazeffect
(mandolins are now punk!), John Taglieri (when are you recording "it's you"?) and Fallen From
Grace (it's only a matter of time before "catch it if you can" is on mainstream radio). Thanks
to the artists for putting on an amazing show, and thanks to all of you who came out to support
the scene.
So this week is Thanksgiving, and I'd like to give thanks to all of you who read this newsletter
every week. Local muscians and local music fans, you make this site what it is. What started as
a hobby almost 3 years ago that I thought only I would ever see, has now become a well known and
popular resource for NJ's indie music scene. This e-mail list alone is over 1000 people strong.
Each and every one of you is why I work so hard every day to keep the site up to date, and I am
so thankful. It's nice to have a creative outlet that helps support the music scene I love so
much.
And just wait, as we close in on the start of year 4, there will be all new things coming to BlowUpRadio.com.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Peace,
Lazlo
