1. MESSAGE FROM LAZLO

Well, I could spend this week talking about the awesome shows I saw - Artist Amp's Anniversary show with Particle Zoo, the Swimmies and Val Emmich - World Beyond Network's Anniversary Show with Bobby Strange and Nicki Jaine - Random, the Lawn Darts and Funch @ Connections...

I could also talk about all the bands whose shows I missed this weekend - Little T & One Track Mike at Artist Amp's bash, everyone who played before Bobby Strange at World Beyond Network's party (it sucks when 2 great shows happen to be the same night) - Copper Dalton at Willie McBride's (it sucks that it is impossible to find parking in Hoboken)...

...but instead, I'd like to pose a question to everyone. Recently several bands have asked me to review their CD for blowupradio.com's website, and I would like to know whether this is something you (the viewers of the website) would like. Thus far, I have avoided reviewing albums so as to not slight any bands, as there is just not enough time to review every album I get. Also, some albums just don't do as much for me as others. It doesn't mean they are bad albums per se (although some probably are), it just means I don't care for it.

To give an example of what I mean, I think Creed makes some of the most uninspired rock music I've heard, but their new album has been number 1 or 2 on the sales charts for over a month now, so someone most like their sound.

So anyway, please E-mail me (lazlo@blowupradio.com) with whether you would like to see CD reviews on blowupradio.com. Also, if there are any would be rock journalists out there that would be interested in writing some CD reviews, let me know. I will let you know what the outcome of this informal polling shows.
