1. MESSAGE FROM LAZLO

Wow, what a busy week it was. Apologies to anyone who I have not yet replied to their E-mail, but this is a one man operation (I'm a control freak and besides it's not like a lot of people are clammering to give up all their free time to promote NJ bands this way). I do my best to reply to everyone in a timely manner, but I had a lot of E-mails this week (keep it up! It gives me reason to believe blowupradio.com is getting to the people), and have gotten a little behind.

This past Friday I saw the triumphant return of Spiral Jetty to the stage. It was good to see them performing again, and their live show is as incredible as ever. Also on the bill were the Crayons, Speedsters and Dopers, and Panama, all of which put on great sets of their own. Remember to go out and support local music live! And if you see a good show, post a review of it on our Message Board (where I have been posting random items in the last week and will continue to do so). I plan to be at several shows this week, and will try to comment on them in next weeks Newsletter.

You will also notice that this week's Newsletter is dedicated to the memory of Domenick J. Infantes Jr.. Domenick was a Jersey City Police Officer who was killed this past July. His cousin is John Bis, lead singer of the band Blender. You can read an article on Domenick's tragic death by clicking here. John has set up a beautiful memorial site for his cousin at http://domenickinfantes.tripod.com. Please take a moment to check it out.
