So I've been to a few festival concerts this summer and I realized what we need is a big festival of New Jersey rock bands. Something like the Clearwater Festival, but more bands and more rock. How cool would it be to take over someplace like the PNC Bank Arts Center and have blowupradio.com fest with let's say 50 bands on 3 stages or something. Just a thought, and something I'd like to work on for next summer (but don't even know where to begin). So what do you think? In addition to more new songs from bands like Slushpuppy and j.a.r. on our webcast, the Literature Corner has new poems! 2 of them are from a person who wishes to remain Anonymous, but writes some great heartfelt stuff. Check out Anonymous' "untitled" and "living conditions". I also added 2 older poems of mine. "Letter to a leader" was something I wrote shortly after Kurt Cobain died, and pretty much captured the feelings of many of the kids I saw talking on MTV that weekend. Shortly after writing it, I wrote "ordinary guy" to sort of put a fictional perspective on what Kurt Cobain was feeling. I'm not sure I'd write either of them if the incident happened today, but that's where I was at that time, and I still think they are good poems.
